Samsung basically has a duplicate app installed for each stock Google app. And I think short of disabling it via adb, there is no option. But Samsung has really turned around and has a relatively good update policy in place. If not the Pixel, then Samsung is okay for me. The 2FA on Lemmy was broken in the sense that if you turned it on, it didn't test you to enter the correct token and then properly activate itself.
