Funny rollercoaster reading this.

As a Brazilian, first I was sort of proud and intrigued; "wow, they were really desperate to get here". (why?)

...Then I read they actually thought they were going to Europe. (haha, c'mon, check the ship's route before you do that)

...And that two of them asked to be sent back to Nigeria after finding out they were in Brazil. (now I'm sort of offended)

There's a typo in the landing page: "senetence".

That's a ludicrous idea, why would they put humans diguised as sun bears? They're obviously racoons disguised as bears.

Just checked in a Brazilian Portuguese real made from trees dictionary, indeed comes from arabic (indicated by the "ár fulân")

Wow! It most certainly came from that!

Sometimes you break up because you've been cheated, and no matter how good are your next partners, you'll always be moaning about everything that's "not like it used to be", because face it, you didn't mind being cheated and just broke up because you didn't want people to say you were a cuckold.

Go back to her, nobody will judge.

A peer reviewed meta analysis of a significant number of sources concluded that it's just OP.

Well yes.

Your title uses "instead of". "Instead of" means a replacement, not a coexistence, let alone a 10% participation.

The original title doesn't suggest that.

When vlemmy.net died permanently, it took my only login into lemmy, and my list of subbed communities.

Having learned the hard way about the volatility of theninstances, I don't want to have to go through the login creation and resubbing communities everytime this happens, and I like my login (it's the same for everything sinxe the 90s), so I created "fallback" logins in other instances (sh.itjust.works, feddit.nl, lemmy.world), as backups, and also to "reserve" my login name.

I have all of them configured in Jerboa, when any of them is down, I just switch. Interestingly, the one that I've never seen down is the smallest, feddit.nl.
