I like that it's completely arbitrary and you can force windows 11 to install on unsupported hardware.

So what I'm hearing is, free Linux servers?

Probably not using diplomacy. You can't really tell someone what to do if they don't want to listen, especially when they have nothing to lose.

Now violence on the other hand... But then that's not really "right" anymore, is it?

I've seen many different ways of arranging a desktop before, and never have I seen a center clock on a bottom bar. Still, I do like it. 🎉

Depends on what counts as "winning" and what counts as "right".

There used to be a Mozilla alternative, and then it got discontinued. :(

No

In the end it doesn't really matter? I suppose I can still send people links to things here regardless if I want them to see it, they'd just be unable to interact with it from a threads account.

I have no clue how helpful this is because I was just looking stuff up, but the Arch wiki has an article on notifications that could help point you in the right direction if you haven't looked at it already.

One of the best things about lemmy is that I can straight up tell people to kill themselves without instantly receiving a three day ban.

Not that I would ever have a reason to do that...
