I own my Pixel 8 Pro. No root. GrapheneOS. So, your logic is therefore flawed.

And this is different from Apple. Right? Right?
Thanks for sharing. Very useful.
Commendable. Not many people would have made that choice.
I believe that is the case with m.2 across the board. POST takes forever, boot seems to be instant.
Same experience. I really like PopOS, so much so that from my last Alienware I moved to a System76 Gazelle 16. But you're right, PopOS would just randomly lag for absolutely no reason (not often, but certainly in the worst possible moment). I tried for about a year on and off alternating with Fedora, no I've been exclusively (almost, with some distro-hopping here and there) for 2 years, and I've never had an issue.
It's pretty capable of blocking a lot of YouTube and Google bullshit. You could just use it for that.
Ok, you're right. I have to agree that it being worthwhile for me doesn't make it so for others. Can't disagree with you on that. I'll down vote myself for not reading your comment with the intent to understand before I replied. And, honestly, thanks for pointing out that I did not really get it, for real.
The Pixel 9 line had GrapheneOS avaliable a couple of days after launch. That's how fast. You order the phone, and by the time you got it, GrapheneOS was ready to replace Stock Android.
