I think Dragon Age: Origins is one of my favorite games of all time. I haven't played anything like it since. I loved the story, cared about the characters, and found the combat to be fun.

Honestly same for me most likely. I've told myself this year is the year that I get the boardgame spending under control. So far 0 purchases with money that isn't made from selling a game that I already own, or trades.

So if it is blocking us, then the only solutions on my end would be:

1. Try to reach out to someone and see if it could be unlocked/if it was intentional or
2. Sign up with another instance where the main communities I want aren't blocking them

I'm not very network/backend/whateverisgoingonhere savvy.

Ahh okay, I always get this and Hero Quest confused too. I think they are both older games from before I was into the hobby. Do you have any experience with this one?

I think I have managed to subscribe to a boardgame community that is hosted on !boardgames feddit.de- I can't see the comments and such when viewing from here as well.

I'm also having difficulty finding and adding this solo boardgame community because I can't get it to show up in the search box. Is this a Lemmy thing or an instance thing?

Thank you, I was able to subscribe to !boardgames from feddit.de; however if I view it from my instance there are no comments on any of the posts. If I go through feddit.de there are comments on all of the posts. Am I not able to comment/discuss with people from other instances?

I thought this had a recent funding campaign somewhere? Did that not work out?

I'm on the app on Android. I had searched and found one, but then created an account and can't find it again. That's the part that is confusing me.

I don't really understand it yet, I'm trying to find a boardgame community, but haven't had any luck.
