I believe he’s even showing up in Alex Jone’s spaces on Twitter too. I have no proof and only a gut feeling alongside the participant sounds just like Elon, speaks in vague tech bullshit just like the man, and only espouses goals and a world view that just so happens to align with Elon and his goals.

You know, I’d fuck with it. It would be kind of incredible to watch a cook improv insane suggestions from an AI, if they’re on-board and compensated, etc, etc.

… in paragraph 2 the responder says it’s genocide.

That was my thought too. I heard a take about how we may see us shift away from GPUs to purpose built PUs as a way to continue process progress now we’re getting pretty small on the silicon scale. Neural nets may be one of these special “PU”s we see.

Ah Florida, the Australia of the northern hemisphere.

Could be, or the meme was started and was boosted because of what you said above.

I can’t put my finger on a number, but for example every time a new Magic the Gathering Arena Set comes out he buys packs until he has a play set of nearly every rare. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was more than five figures annually.

Phew, I’m so glad I switched to 3d-printing/war-gaming. That is absurd.

What sucks is this will likely sell “well” too. I have a buddy of mine that is a “whale” and he eats this shit up

That would be the dream :)

It helped me recall all these facts!!

Thank you!

Nah, just didn’t grow up somewhere like Florida. Most of us can’t name the Presidents, but holy shit there’s a depth to the slurs you’d hear thrown around.

Not super clean up close, but it looks good from afar!

My first army was nids -- what a lovely change of pace!

You all were so receptive and kind with my last post. It's been honestly a blast painting and building all these little gants. Picked up the Hive Tyrant (non winged), Tervigon, the new Neurotyrant, and Combat Patrol. Haven't painted the really sweet models since I want to hone hobbying on my mass of fodder Tyranids tend to run.

After talking to the Nid's Discord, 80 Gant's is the target I'm trying to hit. Good lord, I don't know how you "wide army" folks do it 😅

Learned a lot -- but my nids turned out better than expected!!

(I still don't know what to do with the tops of their guns, but idk)

Y'all have a "painting techniques tutorial playlist?

I'm looking into starting WarHammer 40k, and I combed through advice related from other posts over the years. Found a faction that I vibe with and their aesthetic (Necrons). Additionally, I started to read through the Core Rules and their codex found in the sidebar as well. I just have a few questions related to the 9th -> 10th edition change.

Will figures that I buy right now (and could potentially be 9th) be legal in 10th edition play? Does the rules/codex changes merely change the 'stats' of the figures? Are there any Necrons I purchase that won't exists/be legal in the rules in 10th? (Idk, say an older figure isn't 'supported' or w.e.)

Pardon these questions, I come from a Magic Background and there's a concept of rotation from that game and I didn't know edition changes were the equivalent.

I notice that a '10th ed' Combat Patrol is slated for winter of this year for my skeleton robots, would I be better served waiting for that or acquiring figures right now?

Cheers for any responses.

As a DM of many years I've collected battle maps, and I could post them here to fill the community with content. This issue is I did not make them, and I wondered how the community felt about posting them here.

Here's an idea of how to do it ethically:

  1. Include their watermark (obviously)
  2. Include a link to their socials (this one might he hard for me since my only socials are Mastodon and Lemmy)
  3. Ask the creator for explicit consent (this one would be extremely difficult, as above. Additionally, the creator may not exist anymore.)

Any thoughts? I didn't see rules in the sidebar so I figured to just ask. Thanks!

It's surprising to me how functional this little computer is. The only complaint I have right now is controlling audio input and output!
