Watch the video. Don’t just look at the pics, watch the damn video. This is some sea lioning just asking questions nonsense that I can’t take seriously. His family left Canada during their civil rights movement to move to apartheid South Africa to enslave Africans in an emerald mine. He’s a fascist. He’s a Nazi. Call a spade a spade instead of instilling doubt. Defend a Nazi you are a Nazi.

I’m answering this half assuming good faith but this being the internet I’m heavily doubting it’s a good faith innocent question.

Maybe that was true in 2004 when it was published but it is no longer true. Both see the working class as dirt.

They intentionally lied about the masks to save them for health care workers. They could of messaged wearing cloth masks like the 1918 flu, then surgical as they became available, then n95 as those became available. Why wasn’t there a stockpile? We give trillions to Israel’s genocidal campaigns since it’s founding yet we don’t have a stockpile of basic medical supplies? What a joke of a fucking country. Burn it down and start over.

Everyone knows flu and cold spread airborne and surfaces, why did they only focus on surfaces? It’s a respiratory virus, why not say both? Because you can’t buy anything for airborne. Stock line must go up!

They lied, they did it intentionally, and they broke public trust. When bird flu comes around with likely 10x the death rate if not more we’re gonna be in for some interesting times ahead.

Well if you want to anyway maybe there’s special travel insurance you can buy that covers it or maybe your governments insurance will cover it. Just be careful about that, it’s the quickest path to bankruptcy for us.

To be fair it’s oxygen and not air and designed for people who come from sea level, but yeah.

Also I can’t say I wouldn’t take them up on that. When I was a teenager I went to summit county on a snowboard trip and coming from sea level…. Despite being an athlete… I was winded just going up a flight of stairs. But your body adjusts after a day or two as long as you hydrate and don’t drink alcohol.

Have him watch a lot of skate videos! Start from the beginning of its history in the 70s, and watch surfing as well. I loved watching dogtown and z boys when I was younger both the documentary and the dramatic version although the dramatic version might be too adult themed for him you might want to watch it first because I can’t remember what goes on but there might be sex drugs rock and roll stuff. Also the old Powell peralta videos and then into the 90s and the beginning of street skating. A lot of it (all?) is on YouTube. I really loved the old blind videos and girls yeah right. And the (relatively) newer stuff from supreme. One of my fav clips of all time is tyshawn jumping the 145th subway station in Harlem - I used to live there that was my station so to see it was wild.

He will learn so much just by watching the pros. I never got good at skateboarding I had too many traumatic falls too young that instilled too much fear in me (not to mention being a queer girl in the 90s the neighborhood bullies were bad to me for it - skateboarding is the opposite of that today thank god) but instead it got channeled into snowboarding and I did the same thing growing up watching all the vids. It teaches you something, form, style, the history of tricks. Music taste!

As for you - pad up! All the pads! Start at the bottom of a larger halfpipe and learn to pump it up and down back and forth and then learn to kick turn backside and frontside and eventually how to drop in and rock to fakie. On street learn how to Ollie, how to drop off small curbs, how to stop sliding the wheels. It’s so fun!

Sorry for my attitude. I live in a wealthy tourist area where parents pay $100k a year to private mountain schools because their kid is gonna be the next Olympic athlete…. A lot of the kids seem like it’s work rather than a passion.
