I'm from one of the country in question and I'm certain animal welfare is far at the bottom of the list of our priorities.

Even our famous endangered species like Orangutans fight losing battles against palm fruit oil producers ravaging their natural forest habitat.

So yeah, that's what happens when the majority of the population still needs to compete for food with the animals.

Greed and corruption are widespread everywhere it's exhausting.

you can check the sidebar in the sister community

Will do, thanks for the detailed answer.

Just from the top of my head since you mention rationalist, does it have something to do with community like star slate codex?

I stumbled upon them many moons ago because someone linked an article posted there about the nuances of neuter-ing feral cats which were written by actual vet iirc, but the rest of what written there horrifies me.

What does "doomsday rats" mean ? I'm new around here.

Why?

Even a low-end phone comes with a good enough camera for QR which means wider adoption, you need a higher tier phone for NFC.

We have a similar system in my country and I believe we copy it from India, it works and is convenient.

I'm 7 months too late. I thought you were just making reference to How I met your mother's episode where Barney got laid off of a question mark, and my reply is how Lily responded.

Can you explain to me what "this type of hosting" means ?

I have no clue what's wrong with imgur either .

Yeah, the BBC article I posted above also mentions that.

At first I thought it would be like if someone told me to touch my nose and I have to consider which part of my face it is, because for me my body is split in the middle the left and right feel distinctly different I can't confuse one with the other. Fascinating.

Are you ambidextrous by any chance?

I guess the brain is just weird like that. This is also news to me, I thought "doesn't know left from right" is just a figure of speech.

And now I'm down into the rabbit hole.

This is wild and I genuinely can't wrap my head around it.

So say, if you were blindfolded and run, if I give you command a la those rally drivers you will have a noticeable lag to my cue ? Like not instant ?

Oof yes, eating ( for sustenance ) is such a chore, also sleeping.
