Not every country is like the us

Especially in Europe a lot of them try to better people instead of punishing them and many have special institutions for teenagers that are my like psychiatric wards than prisons

My friend really dislikes Turnbased combat but still liked the game a lot just for how much freedom you have in your gameplay

And some people still say that the customers are helpless and calling for boycott doesn't work...

If people would demand other industries to be more in line with their moral values (like about climate change) that could also change a lot

Of course they would - they need to find an alternative to oil as a sole basis of what's keeping the country wealthy.

Although I'd say that producing and exporting hydrogen would already be a great alternative that would be basically interchangeable with selling oil and Saudi Arabia has a lot of very sunny land available to produce the energy required

It's basically the same kind of treatment the paparazzi and yellow press are giving prominent people and somehow it's okay then just because they are famous.

But for decades that was normalized because people were buying it and now it's spreading to other areas as well

Ah

I'd guess it should send a "see how I can provide for food even without using money" kind of way?

But yeah it's stupid

Wouldn't it be more realistic if Barbie was also Ken? Since most catfishs are dudes going for dudes?

Or is the meme referring to something else?

I was talking about the global 1% since that's usually what those kind of stats are aimed at

Yeah - everyone is shitting on the top 1% here in Germany until they realize that half the population here makes it into that percentile and suddenly it's the 0,1% that's the problem.

It's all about putting the blame on someone else so you don't have to question if you might be a little bit responsible, too, with your lifestyle...

It's really stupid how many people are a sucker for punishment so much that they don't care if they get it wrong a couple of times...

What happend to "Better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer"?

I'd guess a police officer is seeing more than 50 random people a day though which makes it a daily occurrence to be in contact with people carrying which actually strengthens my point

What could be a possible explanation for the lower football turnout?

So now that the teams going to the finals are confirmed: who on here is going to Düsseldorf (from where) and who are you cheering for?
