What an amazing rabbit hole to go down. Thanks for teaching me something new! Fascinating religion with quite the history.

What movie is the one with the clocks from? Is it from Network?

I didn't know about arcade punks! Great site - though a little bit intimidating on first view for a newbie to the scene. A bit of a long-shot, but do you know of any good starter guides for a non expert, who at least has some understanding of the space (aka someone who has been amateurishly setting up collections and playnite libraries for a few years)?

The appeal to me of even considering something like the beast is that someone has pre-organized and optimized, which, for someone who has attempted to organize a collection for a bit, seems like it would take an agonizing amount of time. Anything you could point me towards would be appreciated!

Hey all,

While browsing around youtube, I found This video, which is about a 96 TB hard drive with "every game ever", and it really...looks like it has an absolute tonne of games. This is a link to the store, and it's mega pricey, but with everything pre-loaded, configured and organized, it kind of seems like a steal (har har).

I know there are other products like this around on Amazon, AliExpress and in and around the internet that have similar collections, but this one seems to be the real deal with regards to the sorting and organizing and setting up, which, frankly, I'm sure you guys all know takes a ton of time. So my question is: have you bought something like this in the past? What did you think about it? What do you think about projects and products like this?

I was here when the no-shit post jump started the popularity of this platform. My children will be so proud

No problem! Don't forget to contribute if you think you have some good spoiler free tips 😁

Always as big fan of Carly Rae Jepsens Emotion. Just good vibes and bops.

But I also want to shout out to any of the recent records by the folks at Vulfpeck. Their records are fun and funky - and you can't go wrong with any of the side projects such as those by The Fearless Flyers, or by Theo Katzman.

There's been some great advice in this thread. In the future though here's a shout out for one of my favorite wikis out there, the before I play wiki .

It's great and has useful tips for all kinds of games. Good luck in Hollownest!

Some part of me really just wants this place already to be what reddit was - thriving without my participation. But I am the snowflake and if I want to hope for the avalanche then I have to push! Or...something else that's an effective analogy for wanting a movement without participating. Thank you for this post!

Just posting more content, I think. People go where the content is.

It's almost as if he doesn't realize that it's the truly few people who are power-users that make up the majority of what gives that company value. It would be great if this place could be like what it used to be.

But for real - I would love it if the community found its way over here. But like with Mastodon, I feel as if there is a knowledge gap for federated places - I don't really even understand it myself!

Really happy to be here - would love it if this place worked out. What's the best way to ensure that we get folks moving over?
