Comments are often more valuable than posts. Keeping an archive of posts and comments on Lemmy can be valuable.

Most of the time it won't matter. Only a few instances defederated and it won't impact most users. They mostly did it temporarily because they couldn't handle the massive number of users who came from reddit.

What will you do if reddit undoes API changes? in c/[email protected]

They have shown their true colors. I am not going back. Lemmy is nice and has high quality content.

I like Jerboa a lot. There are a few bugs but I'm sure they'll get fixed.

📢Entire mod team on r/mildlyinteresting (and more subs) removed and locked out of their accounts after changing their rules upon community's request. (They're also switching subs BACK to SFW) in c/[email protected]

Because beehaw will block sync attempts from lemmy.world. Users can't directly connect to other instances. The instance they're on connects with other instances and fetches data in the background.
