Well yeah that’s kinda obvious but this isn’t about Ronaldo lmao why do Messi fans (and Ronaldo fans) still always have to compare them? I honestly thought that shit was left to the 12 year olds in 2015 but it’s funny it still happens in 2023
Messi is the goat but it’s true people overplay how nice he is and portray him as some sort of kind and pacifist saint when throughout his career he’s shown he’s definitely not above some dirtiness and feistiness in his play and conduct.
Not saying he’s particularly terrible but let’s get it straight the guy isn’t squeaky clean like Kante or someone like that
Games like these are why all international goalscoring records are getting beaten more and more easily, still impressive but means a lot less and shouldn’t be used to compare current day players with players of yesteryear.
Stick to basketball and FIFA if you genuinely think he’ll be “completely benched” or loaned in January. At minimum he will be an important player off the bench. His height and ability to win balls in the air alone adds a unique element to the team and off the bench if he starts there.
He literally just started the last game and played well.
Call him shit if you want but at least get the fact rights and don’t make ludicrous claims like saying he will be loaned out.
