There's a pretty big difference between a difficulty setting and a cheat trainer...balancing is not trivial. There's mechanics they'd likely have to change, too.
I was referring to the OC saying there's no place for fixed difficulty (they expect it)
It'd be a compromise of time and energy. Adding and tuning difficulties takes away from development they actually want to do.
I think it's a very entitled stance to expect it.
A lot of times for businesses, that's how you RMA things. "Take a picture of it destroyed and we'll send you a new one"
I work with a guy who is too old for tech....he doesn't like sending Teams messages....nor does he like emails. He calls. He calls without warning to ask things like "hey are there two wires at this location?" that can always be answered by looking at the damn wiring diagram i provided.
Carrying a laptop is too hard and opening a PDF on your phone is even harder, I guess. Better call the engineer to make it his problem

As someone who can't get into games like that, I disagree. Not every piece of media has to be made with me in mind and I don't want developers to compromise to make me happy at the expense of their vision

I'm not a DM and I've never played DND so maybe this sucks but I thought I'd pass it on because I like browsing this community.
I was messing around with Bing Image Creator and thought I'd see what kind of map I could make. I think my immature prompt here was "The Ball Zone: Dungeons and Dragons battle map of a ball factory. Balls are used as obstacles throughout the map"
I'm not sure if I'd use anything Bing makes as-is but it might be cool for inspiration at least
Yesterday I posted a picture of the tower I made while waiting for my friend to get back. Last night we worked together to extend the tower to new heights.
With the original tower, you could right click the top box and click Climb On to ascend. You can only reach about half way up on this one.
You exit the designated camp area about 20 boxes down from where I am in the screenshot and it's nearly impossible to climb back down. But that's ok because you're far enough away to Go To Camp.
10 down and you can no longer interact with the boxes at all. You have to left mouse click to "walk" onto them as if it was the ground.
This is the result of collecting pretty much every box pre-goblin camp minus 10-20 or so that broke in the process.
