I was showing an intern how to install a software the intern needed. The computer setup was a laptop with two external monitors. After we installed the software from one of the external monitors, the intern asked “so will this install the software in the other screen?” I was flabbergasted.

Here’s the thing about resource based export bans: prices will go up and as a result new producers/mines will enter the market. In time, new alternatives will be found, cost of production will go down, and china will loose its comparative advantage permanently.

Sorting by New on All, I see the feed peppered with Lemmit repost. Is there any way to block or filter the Lemmit instance or block the Lemmit bot so that I don't see these soul-less reposts?

Switching between wefwef and Memmy currently, if that's relevant.

Makes sense. They're right next to Russia and don't yet have the luxury of NATO protection. It's one thing to seek NATO membership and another thing to actively arm Ukraine against Russia.
