One of them only introduces facts. The other adds flavor. Whether or not you consider the titles relatively neutral, one does introduce bias relative to the other one.

Introducing Walz as a VP hopeful sounds like they're describing a Palin-level government official, not someone who has been active in politics for years.

Less time moving from line to line, and due to the alternating you would have a much harder time accidentally skipping lines.

It was sad when it was revealed how Lennon really died....

And I can list as many that I've been to that don't. Anecdotal evidence holds

Not to diminish from your point, yes absentee ballots are good, just

by encouraging voting but not voting for a particular candidate

You know this isn't happening.

Manager (34) impregnated a delivery driver (16/17) and ran away to Tennessee because he couldn't be prosecuted for it there.

Your old phone was tiny compared to modern phones

This seems to invalidate your statement about thickness being important, and total volume is about the same.

Let's be real, weed is their excuse but they all want coke and opiates.

Even if that's the term we have for it, I hate the use of supply chain here, it's got such an uncaring tone....

Hello and welcome to The Infodump!

I often have a topic I want to go off on, usually a special interest, but I have no one to talk to about it, so they stay as typed up notes until I could find a place (outside of reddit). I also love learning about new topics from passionate individuals, so I decided to start a community for that! The Infodump which I created as a space to allow for autistic people to make posts about their special interests in a respectful and safe space, at least while Lemmy is small and niche communities are too sparse to really have any engagement.

Mod Introductions

I'm Fern! I love seeing communities grow, and want to foster this one into a healthy community. This is the first time I've attempted to mod a community, so it may be a bit shaky at first but I'm dedicated to see this place thrive as much as possible.

If there is anything you want to see here rule or moderation-wise, or if I seem to be missing something important you want to see, please feel free to comment here or message me directly!

Hello, new instance! I am Fern (she/her) and I was recently diagnosed as autistic after suffering from a ~4 year burnout (and lots of 1-6 month burnouts before that 😮‍💨) and a bipolar misdiagnosis. Found a good therapist and am getting professional help finally!

I don't know what else to say here tbh, so I'll list some of my special interests:

  • Justness/Fairness
  • Information Accessibility
  • Ontology
  • Super Smash Bros Melee _
  • Banjo
  • Electrical engineering
  • Video Game Controllers and their development
  • Linux
  • Not sure whst to call it, but Privacy? Internet/digital security?
  • Fonts
