This is all I have seen of it. Being a cord cutter since the last Olympics, I'm not sure where to watch any of it.

There's an argument in there that isn't a caricature though. I could be persuaded to eat less meat, but I also don't want to add vegan lab protein science kit to my food. It has been my experience that anyone who uses the word ”carnist" unironically is beyond understanding that we can take 2 or 3 steps and maybe end up at the same perspective (or come closer to your way of thinking), or you can drive people away before the discussion even starts.

It's weirdly an asshole move more like.

The olympics are not accessible to everyone, that's the whole point. It's the best in the world at everything, not cool runnings B-reel. I don't understand why we have to have a war on prestige: some people are working hard to be good at things and they don't need to share the stage with the everyman. This was walking into a fancy dinner that you KNOW is exclusive wearing jeans and a beater and spitting on the floor when they call your name. Fuck, have the self-awarenees to say "I am not an Olympic athlete" and leave it at that.

Which is all to say your second paragraph is exactly on point lol.

With about 2 weeks of practice I bet you could.

First because they are older sports. Maybe that is the problem though because karate and ballroom both have 2+ established, competing governing bodies.

Second because at least for sparring, karate is formulaic: put fist or foot here, score point.

I wouldn't. Like many other sports, bboying (which I use because it a dumb AF moniker) is totally subjective for scoring, and as someone who has done a LOT of karate, gymnastics, and ballroom dance, it seems like all of those should have been included first.

How this was in the Olympics and karate isnt is hard to understand.

Whatever,

Crunchwrap Supreme is a great name. It's much easier to say than my fishes name:

Three doritos locos tacos supremes with a large Baja blast.

I gotta disagree here. What qualifies as a "binge" to a scientist and, say, a university student (or even an adult that occasionally drinks) are quite different things. You can science "binge" with like 3 or 5 drinks in a night with no ill effect at all by being sure to drink water or mixing with water, you just can't do it in 20 mins before bed.

I preferred to do Windows as a VM personally. Dual boot cost me a year before my Linux switch BC it was easier to boot Windows when I needed it. With VM I could do mostly Linux with maybe just vm to open a word doc if I needed it.

W7 was fine. I cut the cord and went Linux before W10. It sucked for a year, and now I look at the trash they sell and everyone pays actual money for... And I laugh XD.
