Are the green dots and New! an indicator for new installs and/or updates?

I have tested the AppImage. After the installation it informs that the face image database is outdated and suggest updating it. This will fail, because the old models get removed for the newer. It will crash. Therefore, after the first start cancel this database update, download the models, restart the app, and it will just work.

@cullmann

#Kate is great. We at #RKWard are happy to have it as foundation. Thomas officially published RKWard around 2002. Keep up the good work.

@thibaultmol @[email protected] @[email protected] I totally agree. We even use the #okular part in #RKWard. Okular is really great software.

#Pixelfed would be the only #Fediverse service, which could do that right? I imagine it to be difficult on many levels. Suppose a user has 10 GB of content and plans to move to an instance with a 5 GB limit. This is just one challenge that comes into my mind.

@[email protected] I still like the idea that FLOSS developers and FLOSS creators can make a living from their work and passion. There are ways, I guess. We at #RKWard @[email protected] work on software because we like to do this, just like you. Keep up the good work and the spirit!
