"Would you like the receipt?" "I don't know. Does it have a nice personality?"

No, big planes have to do this sometimes after digesting excess passengers and cargo.

I have three of them.

Interesting. The German for "feed," meaning animal feed, is "futter." In this case I guess they figured if it was chuck in English, chuck is feed too, so they went with futter.

I won't miss the print QST, better known as the monthly MFJ catalog.

Superglue usually won't hold well on fabric. If it were my problem I'd try carpenter's glue or wood glue. It will hold on most surfaces that aren't too slippery.

Swamp coolers are a thing. I don't know about the physics, but they can actually cool a space if the ambient humidity is low.

Using ice water in the gadget you have will improve its performance, obviously.

Trouble is, more people can use a phone videocam than can write.

This sounds like consequences from going cheap. I have a couple of surplus panels that are over fifty years old and still outputting about 80% of their rated power when kept clean.

If I were you I'd see a doctor. Assuming you picked it up two days ago, that is sufficient time for it to settle and bite. The fact that it was not engorged is not assurance that you weren't bitten. Some people catch lyme and never show a rash, although that is uncommon.

Your doctor may prescribe an antibiotic as a preventative measure.

That's what they did here in the US. Take a look at Washington DC and see how that turned out.
