I do homelab and am very aware of the costs. I wasn't saying it's free. I'm saying that donations and maybe a gilding system could easily keep these servers afloat. No need for ads.
Capitalism isn't Sustainable(or efficient). There is a lot of overhead to make sure the wage slaves stay in line(Managment, and middle managment), and to make sure the wage slaves don't sue the company(HR), and to clean up the buildings the wage slaves work at(Janitors), and the cost of the building, all that plus, taxes, paying the greedy shareholders(The largest cost), Marketing(Ads).
Its A LOT simpler when its just a server and someone who enjoys working on it. People who keep repeating that this isn't sustainable don't know how shitty capitalism is. Its not the servers that are unsustainable its the parasites on top.

Humans have decoupled themselves from evolution in the typical sense.
Survival/gene-elimination cues don't really apply anymore since we have hospitals and can take car of eachother.
I think the major remaining factor for our evolution now will either be self guided, or it will be who ever can have sex the most.
You're just giving them more data when you interact with them. Those comments are probably still there. All you did was give them data that you are the type of person to change your comments.

Yes it does.... But feeding the crops to animals just to eat the animals still consumes just as many crops as well as the animal who ate them.
It's more efficient to just eat the crops the other animals eat.
Looks like the only unique information they wanted was my age and a "Name" which doesn't look like it has to be legit or not. It asked for my username, email which they would already have.
