Linux Mint, or any Linux distro, over Windows.

Yes, I know it's a "beginner" Linux distro, but I just need it to work and be reliable. I need to be able to get in and troubleshoot my servers, not my desktop or laptop. Not many other distros do that out of the box especially with the amount of support Mint has.

I know a lot of people are saying Bitwarden, but I've been using 1Password for 4 years and Bitwarden just isn't a viable replacment.

1Password looks much more modern and their organizational tools are not present at all in Bitwarden. I can't even sort by date created or modified in Bitwarden.

Not using a password manager is like not having locks on a house. Everyone should have one and if you don't, you're risking a lot of valuable stuff being taken from you.

I had this happen with my touchpad and started with the solution you did.

I figured out how to restart the touchpad at the kernel, which fixed it. Then, I figured out how to run those commands after it wakes from suspend.

Works like a dream now.

I would seriously recommend at least loading up a partition with Linux. Its a steep learning curve from Windows.

Research distributions now, don't wait until the last second and possibly screw yourself over.

I switched to Tidal and the only thing I miss is the lyric search. Otherwise, far better platform.

There are honestly some people I work with who are like this. It's just as nightmarish as it sounds
