After reading this, I'm afraid Dr. Google has some bad news for you.

This is a well written. Thanks. Anyone who needs persuading should read the above.
Articles like this are now almost daily reminders to seek new tools. I've been using Gmail since 2004 back when it was by invite. I hate to jump ship now, but goodness, I'm questioning continuing to give Google my money.
Ugh, I can vouch that back pain is real.
I don't often hear it called libre software, but I like it. Better than open source or free software. I'm glad this kind of discussion is back again. It's more important than ever with the increasingly clear unfolding corporate takeover of the Internet.
Does anyone know the origin story of /r/blackpeopletwitter and /r/whitepeopletwitter?
I can hear this post. Well done
A stranger on the Internet approves of this plan. Please provide updates. Will there be a Vogon poetry recital?
Yeah, SNW is very good. I've not started the current season, but plan to soon :-)
I thought this was an inciteful comment. Language is a kind of 'view' (in the model view controller sense) of intelligence. It signifies a thought or meme. But, language is imprecise and flawed. It's a poor representation since it can be misinterpreted or distorted. I wonder if language based AIs are inherently flawed, too.
Edit: grammar, ironically
It's an anagram of my real name, 'lcdou 991y9'
Many years ago I ran Gentoo as well. Switching to Arch was a considerable upgrade. I admit I've been running Ubuntu since Lucid (aside a brief stint of Fedora). It's nice that things mostly just work. It allows me to focus on life and not wifi drivers. Man, that sounds like such a cop out.
Anyhow, there's part of me that would love to play with those cosmic distros again some day.
