This may be true for married couples who started dating when they were teenagers. Since you brought it up, I'd be curious to see what proportion of the couples in the study fall into that category. I have a hunch that it's a pretty small percentage, though.

While it's true that there is some stigma against (e.g.) a college freshman or sophomore dating someone who's still in high school, I don't think many people in their right mind would object to a 2-, 3- or even 4-year age gap once both partners are at least 20.

EDIT to add: I don't think 17-year-olds being afraid to date 15-year-olds even registers on the top ten reasons "why people are increasingly lonely." Your take comes across as very high school-centric.

I'll be making pan pizza with Muenster cheese for that nice melty-buttery goodness with the caramelized edges all around. Not quite Detroit style but close enough. I don't have a lot of patience when it comes to pizza dough, so I'll be adding a couple tablespoons of vital wheat gluten flour to strengthen the dough, and let it rise in the same pan I bake it in.

Sauce is homemade, I just blend a can of San Marzano tomatoes with baked garlic, olive oil, and dried basil.

Probably gonna top it with sauteed mushrooms and red peppers and feta cheese.

"And to be a man and then vote for a woman just because she’s a woman is either childish — that person has mommy issues — or they are just trying to be accepted by other women,” Watters said. “I heard the scientists say the other day that when a man votes for a woman, he actually transitions into a woman.”

They didn't say "sell," they said "give."

Should Ruben vet the entire Lemmyverse while he's at it so he can "dictate what appears in his product?"

As a solo developer with limited resources, one has four choices:

• Choose an existing ad network and do the best you can within its content preferences,

• Put a paywall on your app's features and hope enough people will actually buy it,

• Work for free, sacrificing your own livelihood, or

• Don't develop the app.

Clearly they all involve a compromise of one form or another, and I trust that Ruben put a lot of thought into the decision.

Looks great! Gotta give credit to those red peppers and mushrooms too!

I dunno but it's my first time seeing it, so I'm glad they shared it here!

"Considers" ≠ "Counts"

"Tom counts a yellow Corvette among his three sportscars" would be a perfectly natural statement in an article where Corvette ownership is relevant. In this article, parenthood of a transgender child is relevant.

By "illegal," do you mean the player is not allowed to choose the race for their character? Or do you mean the race is outlawed within the setting, i.e. Orcs would have no legal protections and are persecuted by the law?

The sauce is a blend of refried beans and chunky salsa. The cheese is a mix of Mexican-style shredded cheese and crumbled queso fresco. Topped with fresh cilantro and lightly-crushed nacho cheese Doritos after baking.

Inspired by my local Casey's convenience store.

Scrambled eggs, salt, pepper, "everything bagel" seasoning; sautéed onion, red pepper, and spinach; Mexican shredded cheese blend; frozen bag of seasoned red potatoes, air-fried; Sriracha hot sauce

I'm making this stuffing and some Beyond chili to bring to the family gathering this year. I'm using Country Crock instead of butter for the stuffing so it's all vegan. I'll be sure to post pictures of both dishes later, along with my chili recipe.

What are your favorite dishes to make on Thanksgiving?

Sourdough bread, garlic-basil mayo, provolone cheese, American cheese, feta cheese, spinach, tomatoes, salt, pepper. Baked open-faced at 450° F for a little under 10 minutes, finished with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.

The salad is a chopped salad kit from the supermarket, with sunflower kernels and a citrus dressing.

Cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, red onion, basil, balsamic vinegar. It was thick and messy enough to eat with a fork and knife, but damn it was delicious.

Not my best example of a pizza. It started out as "caprese salad and focaccia" and I figured why not combine them. It was too tasty not to share.
