Pretty sure neither of those are new. Synthetic clothing and tires started after WWII. PFAS were used in nylon at the time and teflon was invented in 1938.

Planting is easier to automate than harvesting. Pretty sure everything has been using seed drills for a while now. Harvesting and meat packing are going to get hosed though.
Google now provides a full 7 years of parts and updates for the pixel 8 and 9. Samsung may I think now do 7 years of updates on some phones no idea about parts though.
