CSGO. all those anti cheat clients are kernel level and only work on windows AFAIK

I would switch tomorrow if I didn’t play competitive CS that requires third-party anti-cheat like Faceit/ ESEA.

A million seconds is 11.574 days, a billion seconds is 31.7 years

Is Teflon a genericized trademark? Not sure I’d there’s any diff between that and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)?

What’s the generic for linoleum? I wasn’t aware that this was a brand name

A fellow fuckcars fan. Also important to remember that the US has been systematically lobbied to make public transport, trains, etc way worse.

I read that if you select “English (World)” during setup, a lot of this bloat is never installed. Have yet to try.

Sometimes that software is useful, a few times windows didn’t auto-install ethernet drivers, so I was happy ArmoryCrate could be mounted to do so.

Been on Vyvanse 40mg for a few months now and am loving life. I’m more productive, happier, can focus better, eating less, etc.

I can’t help but feel like ADHD meds are like a deal with the devil. I can either have my days drag on, especially the boring parts, and feel every second pass. Or… I can take meds and have the boring parts go by quickly, feel productive, but also have the enjoyable moments that I want to savor, whisked away into the past, leaving me wondering "where the hell did my day go?"

Does anyone else feel like this?

When, Where, & How

When:

  • Bought it June 23, with 800 miles on it an hour north of me. (Already up to 1200!)

Where:

  • An hour north of me at Fort Collins Motorsports

How:

  • Drove up during my workday to snag it before it was gone! Was an amazing test ride, and loved how the Akrapovic exhaust thumps and rumbles. That being said my ears did start to feel fatigued after 5 minutes of riding with the exhaust. More on that in the mods section. I had such a blast on my long ride back home with it, getting comfortable with the bike.

Mods

Exhaust:

  • Sadly when I purchased, it came with the baffle already removed, so that's a modification I'll need to make. Even though I love how loud it is, I wonder how much my neighbors hate me, and am curious if I'll prefer the sound with the baffle in. Anyone have opinions on this?

Frame Protection:

  • Already installed some frame protection (installed after pics were taken. Funny story, the bar-ends didn't have a torque spec listed, so I kept tightening because there was more to tighten. Ended up shearing the bolt clean off between the plastic cover, and the aluminum bolt that screwed in: Picture

TailTidy:

  • I recently learned that most tail-tidys are actually illegal as they move the indicators closer to the center, which breaks the 9" of separation, and 4.5" of separation for each from center rule. Wondering if anyone has been pulled over by the police over this. Additionally... any recommendations on tail tidy/ integrated tail lights?

Front-indicators:

  • Does anyone modify the front indicators? Mine are already LED as 2021+ model, but am curious what y'all do with it, thanks!
