I've had three Yale deadbolts for 6+ years and I've never had an issue to where I wished they had a keyway. I love them.

That's not "Windscribe as my VPN", it's a VPN to Windscribe's servers.

You want to setup a VPN to your home network. This is one option: https://tailscale.com/

Take a fist full of gummies then go out and hold onto a tree.

Port your number to Google voice. Their spam blocking is great. That and/or get a Pixel. TBH I'm not exactly sure which one is blocking spam calls but I haven't gotten one in years. I only use Google voice for texting though, so that would have to be blocking spam texts.

They've been moving there since the 1860s. Maybe there's some other reason for this change?

I used to work overnight, 4 10s and it was like 10p-8a or 9p-7a. I switched to 8a-5p and it took weeks to turn around completely. I had been using mio energy in water for a couple of years at that point and I went from two 20oz bottles at night to four of them during the day. It was eye opening how completely draining working overnight was for me.

Is bikes direct an option for you? https://www.bikesdirect.com/canada/

I've got a weather station outside and I use this add on to bring it into HA. We only had 79.8% coverage during the eclipse, but there was a noticeable drop in temperature!

I recently moved away from MyQ to local control of my garage door and I've been loving it. I stumbled across the linked issue where MyQ shit the bed for roughly 3 days and it just confirms to me that the extra effort to move away from a cloud service was worth it. I'm down to just one last cloud service for something inside my house. My mind is pretty much made up that if I can't accomplish it locally, I won't do/use it.

I just setup ratgdo on my Chamberlain garage door opener and it was great. Flashing it via Chrome and configuration was easy, Home Assistant picked it up via MQTT immediately, and wiring it up was simple. All around a great experience and well worth the money. I'll keep myQ around for a few days, but if no issues crop up, I'll be kicking it to the curb soon.
