You might already know about it but I saw someone using rtkit with pipewire. I think it's for real-time threads priorities.

They also changed a bunch of stuff in the default config. I have no idea what it's for. See: https://github.com/lovesegfault/nix-config/blob/ad9a15936e162e3cb8e28eb5a5d0f2fbd4834ff9/hardware/sound.nix

Just to be clear, I'm not suggesting nixos for audio. Your message just make be think about someone's config so I thought it could interest people reading this thread.

Are you talking about Google drive not having a Linux client?

Maybe it could be a separate app like Mastodon Redirect

Macrodroid doesn't seem to be opensource.

I tried and it seems root is needed to backup wifi passwords but I think I was able to do a local backup of an app.

Would swift backup with Shizuku enough to not need root?

Yeah. I would take my time too. It will take time to get good with the machine anyway.

I would also take my time if I modified one, I wouldn't want to hurt myself or ruin the machine.

A gaggia seems nice and you can upgrade it later with https://gaggiuino.github.io

That's awesome. It's a shame that most apps are charging a non-trivial amount of money. If they think that mindfulness could change people's lives, why don't they make it free so that they can help everyone.

Also, mindfulness is always the same gimmick:

  • breathe
  • if you get distracted, it's totally normal, acknowledge the thought and let it go
  • rince
  • repeat
