It's a suggestion, and just enough enforcement to stop people from accidentally wandering that way. Who knows, it might actually be a "don't go this way, there's something dangerous" kind of thing, or they could have actual security further along.
I'm extremely short sighted, so beyond a foot away from my face everything is about as blurry as the image before removing the NSFW filter.

It wouldn't inject eggs into a new host of the same species, it would either directly lay new eggs or find another species to inject. Maybe the only can be approached by a virgin thing is just them seeking out a healthy human host...
