I wouldn't say "comprehensively bricked" but on my most recent playthrough (PS5) I did hit one or two crashes that caused me to lose a small amount of progress.

I just finished playing Deathloop for the first time and I believe it fits your criteria. Very Bioshock, except 60's pop art instead of 30's art deco. I could spend hours just wandering around the island exploring all the detail they've crammed in.

not sure that's it. i created an account on another instance and i do see my post there.

I created a post on lemmy.world. I am subscribed to that same community here as well. I don't see my post here yet. How long should it typically take for an article from a different instance to show up here?

You'll probably think I'm weird but I love to blast this when I'm in the coding zone.

I am a programmin' folk, and I was even considering making a Lemmy reader for my own amusement, but wefwef is so good that I'm not going to bother. I wish I had time to learn React and the rest so I could contribute myself, but my brain is already full of frameworks and I'm afraid if I try to learn a new one, it will push out one that I actually need for my job.

The backend and the frontend can be separate things in Lemmy. In this case, you go to mlmym.org and the first thing you have to do is input your lemmy server name. Then, boom, you're browsing the Lemmy instance you entered, but it looks like Old Reddit. It's a thing of beauty. (I'm using it right now to respond to your comment!)
