@Akaru88 You painted all of that with a Gundam Marker? And here I thought airbrushing the inner frame was too much work. Fantastic job.

@Akaru88 That looks fantastic! Wonderful metallic color. I'd be tempted just to display it like that (although I just love Zaku and Zaku adjacent suits)
@Akaru88 Only one of my 1/144 kits came with a pilot figure. Much sad. The MG's come with a ton, though. Too bad I don't have a 1:100 scale scene base.
@Akaru88 I love scene bases so much. Especially that style, where it looks like they're being built or maintained. I actually 3D printed some roughly 1:144 scale technicians for mine, although enough (relatively rare) 1:144 scale pilot figures would probably look a lot better.
@MyDarkestTimeline01 There's a Bandai Hobby link now, so your preferred store may have it available for preorder. I know a couple US stores do. Looks like it'll be 70 USD, a bit more than even the Vidar.
@gundam I took another picture to demonstrate the secondary manipulators and thought it looked nice enough to post. Grass is not to scale :blobcatupsidedown:

Wow you aren't wrong. That thing is kind of creepy. I believe the RB-79 Ball here is inspired by deep sea exploration crafts, and looking at the TMNT stills they may share that inspiration.
@Grass That sucks. It is a quick build if you decide not to decal it, but sometimes even if we physically have the time we don't have the "bandwidth".
@MelodiousFunk I agree. Honestly despite having never watched GTO this is still what I see when I think "RX-78-2"
@Akaru88 Great build! Some gold Gundam Marker would make that heat hawk pop.
