The MTA loses $500 million a year in fare evasion? How much are they charging and how much profit are they making? They want to have cops on the subway 9-5, when people are at work, but not 5-9 when your more likely to have issues with drunk riders. And they're installing more spikes. Never moving there.

It really boils down to what are you're willing to tolerate and how much do you want to spend. Unless you want to go copper/stainless/cast but even those probably leach something into the food, and can be difficult to cook with. We need to invent the Star Trek replicator
