we know what the problem is already.
Only part of the country does. If everyone knew what the problem was, we wouldn't be where we are. Additionally, some people need this type of perspective because they can't draw that conclusion on their own.

Dockerization isn't a big deal. You can create a docker server with a smaller SSD/M.2 drive within the same machine to simply run the docker (or portainer) frontend and create pools of like-sized HDDs for pool storage using docker volumes to store your data on your HDD array. The most important thing being that the drives are the same size. So if you start out with 20TB drives, you have to continue with them.
Once you create your pool, you can install more drives as needed and simply increase the size of the pool by the number of drives installed. Add your new drives to your machine, update fstab, add the new drive capacity to your array, and then balance your drives.
Not to mention that Swartz had a JSTOR account, which means he was legally entitled to download the things that he did. The part they didn't like was that he used scripts to download en-mass, and a bunch of boomer fucks thought he actually committed a crime.
Opus is better than MP3 in every way. File size is either better or the same, and audio is better even at lower bitrates. But realistically, most streaming services don't provide HD audio, so it really doesn't even matter.
249 webm audio only 2 │ 1.58MiB 49k https │ audio only opus 49k 48k low, webm_dash
250 webm audio only 2 │ 2.09MiB 65k https │ audio only opus 65k 48k low, webm_dash
251 webm audio only 2 │ 4.14MiB 128k https │ audio only opus 128k 48k medium, webm_dash
233 mp4 audio only │ m3u8 │ audio only unknown Default
234 mp4 audio only │ m3u8 │ audio only unknown Default
140 m4a audio only 2 │ 4.20MiB 130k https │ audio only mp4a.40.2 130k 44k medium, m4a_dash
This is YouTube music, which generally serves the split audio from a YouTube video as a song. Most of them I checked either don't have audio above 130Kbps or don't even provide MP3/Opus anyways.
Cryptpad is basically a frontend to ONLYOFFICE web. It's nice, but ONLYOFFICE requires quite a bit of system resources because its java based. As an alternative, I highly recommend WPS Office instead. Significantly more lightweight. It's an application for Portainer-EE, too. So it's basically a 1 click install.
By not making them publicly accessible. With Wireguard there's really no reason.
Setup service to be active on a subnet, enable Wireguard to VPN into the subnet and use the services.
Piracy, is a reaction to corpo greed. It challenges the notion that essential tools, education, and entertainment should be locked behind paywalls many can't afford. It pushes back against monopolies that exploit consumers with inflated prices, restrictive DRM, and predatory subscription models. When corporations prioritize profits over people, piracy becomes a form of resistance--a way to reclaim access to what should be available to all regardless of economic background or means.
Piracy isn't about harming small indie creators or stealing their work. To call it virtue signaling is to completely miss the point, lil bro. If that's the way you think you're not a Pirate you're just a thief.
EDIT: The reading comprehension here seems incredibly low. Corporations aren't people--piracy isn't theft because you can't steal IP from corporations. My post doesn't remotely suggest that Piracy is theft from corporations. Piracy from indie creators, however, is theft because it harms a person, not a corporation.
It's not a difficult concept.
OK, we cut a bunch of funding to a bunch of critical systems and services. It's time for us to spend money. Better shut the curtains, first.
Jesus Christ....
