Why don't he use some platform like Github/Gitlab and alike? The method to send patches via email is just stupid, isn't it?

revanced patches against official app work like a charm. Considering that I am on GrapheneOS and app is forced to stay off when I am not using it is a win for me. Also, I rarely scroll reddit, so I don't mind using shittier app.

Well, bed is not necessary since you can sleep anywhere as long as you can lie down. To make bed - trees were cut, the ecosystem were damaged. The birds who had their nest in those trees lost their home. Is this worth it?? /s

How is XFCE nowadays? I am on KDE for the past ~3 years and been long-term XFCE user.
IMO biggest KDE advantage over XFCE is that everything literally works out of the box - audio, bluetooth, shortcuts (i hate setting up script yo turn on/off mousepad.
I am using X instead of Wayland anyway.
Anything changed in XFCE over several years?
