Time doesn't always go on the x-axis, but it is expected that the "independent" variable goes there, which is time in this case. This orientation does make it a lot more readable on mobile though in portrait mode, but the slider is unreadable in the mode. Which means it should probably assume landscape mode anyways, in which case x=year would be better. Given the "x-axis" is at the top on the original, I think you are intended to look at it sideways (like a full page landscape graph in print form), such the the left side is the x-axis? But the %s being at the bottom of the new one make it harder to see that label (on mobile at least) and changes what is the implied x and y axis.

But if the independent variable was "words in a book" and you were using that to predict time needed to complete the book, time should be on the y-axis.

Its pretty rare; usually only the last 4 digits as a step in verification on some occasions.

Vivaldi is cool. I installed it (for those who wanted a chromium browser) and FF on all the work computers where I work. Eventually uninstalled it because people started playing Vivaldia. Disabled Edge, so now they are FF only.

Brave has built-in wallet support and such, but I don't think it does any mining, does it? It just has its own opt-in ad system to pays out in crypto and is also owned by a turd.

FF still hasn't brought back a tab group API for extensions or native tab groups. Extensions can only do so much given what they have to work with. I still use FF on the side, but it simply isn't a practical as a primary browser for me currently.

But for casual users, many probably have never even touched their browser settings.

There's also other chromium browsers with built-in ad-blocking that still work AFAIK. If all extensions and forked brower's ad-blockers stopped working, I think there would probably be a surge in firefox usage (even if there's not that much change in chromium usage).

There's people like my moms who generally think they align with republicans because they think democrats will make them poor to make the poor rich. But they won't vote republican because of homophobia. Seemed like Trump was trying to distance himself from homophobia for a little bit, so stuff like this will continue to keep votes away. I don't think they'd vote for Trump regardless, but if they noticed the attempt at pandering followed by overt homophobia, it could continue keeping people rightfully distrustful of republicans for decades.

Blue-eyed ensign wasps are cute :3

Had one indoors the other day at work and someone noticed it and was bothered by its existence. I took a picture of it and the grabbed it to take it outside. Would have preferred to let it be, but worried others might hurt it :\
