They currently live in the US. So, whether they properly answered your prompt seems to depend on your definition of "your country".

The problem is that Republicans are being told that there is proof. That the fraud is rampant and everyone knows it. It's just that "they" keep removing and hiding the information.

My mom seriously believes that there is mountains of proof and that she has seen it in the past, but can't find it anymore because it has been deleted from the internet.

And the statewide margin was still a 14 point margin. Too much to overcome with 12 stolen ballots.

You're right, it is. In 2020 not a single race in Mesa County was competitive. Likewise, none of the state-wide races were competitive enough to have their results changed even if everyone in Mesa County voted the same way.

You're probably right but I don't really get it. Mesa County is so red that Trump won by 28 points in 2020. What was this person trying to achieve? For that matter, what was Tina Peters was trying to achieve? I just don't understand how either of them could have made a difference when, in 2020, Trump won by over 25K votes out of a total of 91K votes cast and 107K registered voters.

If I had to guess, the reason for the lack of a phone requirement is that, if the army required everyone to have phones, the army would need to pay for them, too. I'm sure the army loves spending money on things like that.

I'm sure this is true. I wish there was a way to communicate it better, though. People have been sounding the alarm for so long that stories like this fall flat with most people. I don't have a solution, I'm just lamenting that most people will just scroll past because we've been hearing dire warnings like this for decades.

At least? You thought a day pass to Disney World was at least $2,500 and maybe $25,000?

Well, that's kind of what a cease and desist is. It says, in a formal but mostly polite way, "stop doing that or we'll become less nice".

This is just a means of doing layoffs without needing to pay severance or unemployment while automatically filtering for people who are less invested in the job, isn't it?

I honestly think he had every right to do that in that situation. Kid aims a gun at you and gets a spanking? Kid got of light...

I'm a white guy from a fairly non-diverse city. I was at a grocery store today where a cashier opened up their line to serve me and, I thought, the person behind me. As they were serving me, though, they put up their lane closed sign right in front of the black man behind me. The buy was just trying to purchase some tuna, bread, and peanut butter.

The cashier basically decided to serve me, a middle class white man, but refused to serve the black man behind me. I was so shocked that I didn't say anything. It is possible that I misunderstood the situation but it seemed so blatant.

What should I have done in this situation? Should I have spoken up? Would that have just been more embarrassing for the man who was being discriminated against?

Honestly, I'm still just in shock to see someone treated so poorly when they were simply trying to buy food for themselves. I recognize that means that I'm sheltered but I also feel like I should be able to use my unearned privilege to help others who are being discriminated against.

I keep running into issues where I'm unsure of which account I'm currently using. It would be nice if it were more obvious at all times. Two things that would help me are:

  • always display the current user somewhere, regardless of what content is being viewed.
  • allow setting different color themes for different users.

I use Podcast Addict and have recently noticed location-based ads in my podcasts. Adds that are local to my large town / small city. The app doesn't have location permissions, so how are the podcasts embedding localized ads?

They decided to give a show today. Six of them were hanging out on the dock, but when I stopped to take pictures, they all decided to take off and do circles over the lake.

I got lucky and this guy posed for me for about five minutes. I tried to get some in flight, but they're simply too fast for me!

This beautiful bird has been hanging out at our local lake for the last several weeks. I've been trying to get some pictures of him and he finally got close enough for my lenses.
