Nice of the teams to speak up. Privatisation has pros and cons and doesn't solve anything by itself. Whether public or private, Argentinian football will only become stronger again once their league is sorted out and stabilizes. No more promedios, inflated calendars, weird rulings. What makes a league grow is a clear and stable structure, and a system that rewards clubs that are professionally run. This is what happened in Brazil when the current format for our league was established in 2003, and we are reaping the long term benefits of that.

There's a famous saying in Brazilian football: "there are things that only happen to Botafogo".
