Never understood why Macs don't come with 16 (or even 32GB) base RAM. If I'm paying 1100 for a device, I don't expect to have the same amount of ram as a £250 Chromebook, as that's unacceptable, especially when it's £200 to go to 16GB, when in reality, that should be for 64 or 128GB of RAM

This is my main issue with AMD GPUs, the driver support is short. The GTX 970 (Released in 2014) is still getting regular Driver updates 9 years after release whereas the RX 590 (Released 2018!) is on the brink of losing drivers, not to mention Ryzen APUs released in 2023! This just seems ridiculous compared to Nvidia

for £1150, i think Macs should be coming with 16gb base memory. Theres no excuse not to at that price point, as 8gb is very low, considering lower end windows laptops close to the £300 mark come with that amount.

im more baffled as to why they are comparing a RX 5700 to a GTX 1070. Id have thought they would have said a RX 590 (instead of 5700) or RTX 2060 (instead of 1070)
