This package treatment usually isn't malice; the automated package sorting drops packages from one belt to another and the longest drop can be up to 12 feet (4 meters).

Always assume your package will experience such a drop when you're packing it.

I had some struggles with consciousness persisting until I learned about the cognitive shuffle technique.

So if this is you, look up cognitive shuffling. Doesn't work for everybody but worth a try.

This always attracts pedants whining "the creator said to pronounce it like jif!" and it's like, OK, A) That's an appeal to authority, one of the best known logical fallacies B) The creator of Mother's Day spent over 30 years trying to get people to stop celebrating it, but too bad, I'm still gonna wish my Mom a happy Mother's Day, you know?

In addition to what others have said, observe that as a motorboat pushes through the water it creates a wake, a pair of waves that curve up and away from the boat.

This is partly true, but regulations do allow for a computer screen digital version of the basic safety display, as long as it can be demonstrated to be reliable and work without other systems like the infotainment system, and many manufacturers have implemented this.

IMO I think the answer to the OP is "it was a stylistic choice"

I tried Liftoff, Connect, and Jerboa, and settled on Jerboa.

The majority of oat milk brands also produce a "cafe" or "barista" version. These should be available in the grocery store but if not, select an "extra creamy" labeled oat milk.

Alex Borstein was once asked if there were any jokes that didn't make it to air on Family Guy and she replied that she had pushed for "Tampax Ice" but it wasn't accepted

Interesting, the tiny size (5cm x 5cm) and FPC connector for capacitive touch screen make me think of a portable hotspot, but there's no wireless. The support for CAN 2.0 and RS485 make me wonder if that SoC was originally designed in the automotive or aeronautic business.

Sorry 🤷‍♂️ just giving an idea of the power of that particular core (maybe I should have used the SoC name and not the SBC name)

This one reminds me of:

  • Gummy bears contain gelatin
  • In the USA at least, gelatin is derived from bones
  • Technically, gummy bears are not boneless

$1199 for the board with chip+heatsink, or $1999 for a complete assembled system. Delivery by Christmas 2023.

I don't know, it's great to see the form factor, but I don't think twice the price of the HiFive Unmatched for 64 T-Head C920 cores (about RaspBi 3B+ level with RVV 0.71 draft extension) glued together is worth it.

I'll keep watching for Horse Creek and whatever Ventana Micro Systems are doing.

What do you all think?
