Ya know, I've never actually seen a real photo of her before, but I was scrolling and thought "is that that lady with the portrait?" And wouldn't ya know, it is. 10/10 for capturing her likeness and essence. Must be tricky considering the little I know about her seems to indicate she has no soul.

One of mine hisses all the time. She'll hiss and then slow blink. We say that she's swearing and has a potty mouth, because she grew up in the streets. If I hiss at her she doesn't flinch, so I have to physically move her from doing something I don't like.

I start with the smallest, actionable step. And then I don't beat myself up if I can't do more- it's basically figuring out what the smallest thing you can do to make things better is, and then doing that. If I need a shower, what can I do to make it as easy as possible. Then I plan to do the bare minimum but if I find more motivation as I'm doing the task then great! I can have a full shower. If not, well I've only committed to doing the bare minimum so if I need to be in and out in 5 minutes that's ok too.

Costco sells rotisserie chicken at a loss. It's an easy way to get cheap, relatively healthy, low effort protein.

Funny enough, I just finished playing through Paper Mario 64, and you've basically described Peach's chapters. She's able to pass on messages by way of using another character as a messenger.

The way the game is structured is there's a mini Peach chapter in between each main chapter, but I think it would have been intriguing if you never actually got to see Mario's side of the story and only heard about his adventures from the guards, diary entries, etc. Cool idea for a puzzle game!

So angry at Nestle and the time they killed all those African babies doesn't even hit your highlight reel. I agree- we can do without Nestle.

I appreciate that, but I also want to avoid tribalism in relation to politics whenever I can. It's not about teams or colours in my eyes.

Running a country the same way he ran his casinos.

It was actually so nice. I walked into work and nobody was talking politics because it didn't feel like the world was ending.

For any conservatives, I'm sorry. I work and am highly involved with vulnerable people, and I vote to protect them as best I can. A vote for PP would not have been a vote to protect the most vulnerable I know, which in my eyes is what a society is meant to do.

My condolences. I hope you get the rest you need, too.

Fun fact: the Coca Cola Freestyle machine is designed by the Pininfarina company, of the same Pininfarina legacy of classic Italian car design fame.
