No, they have actual pornographic videos of themselves having sex with others. From the NYT: In an interview on Thursday, Mr. Gow and Ms. Wilson said that they believe they were fired over the videos, which included sex scenes together and with others under the username Sexy Happy Couple.

And...

Mr. Gow, 63, said he and his wife, 56, have made videos together for years but had decided recently to make them publicly available on porn websites and had been pleased by the response. They said they never mentioned the university or their jobs in the videos, several of which have racked up hundreds of thousands of views. The couple also has made a series of videos in which they cook meals with porn actors and then have sex.

I understand what you're saying and I don't think you're missing anything. SLES, CIQ, Oracle are trying to come out as winners here but they're cutting off their noses to spite their own faces. I can't understand why any of these companies thought that this was a good message to send to anyone.

Can you imagine being in SLES sales? "Yeah, we attempt to clone our competitor's product and we promise you that we can support it better than they can."

I have to be blunt on my reaction to reading this article. This is one of those "There's no way that happened" stories. It just sounds too over-the-top to have actually happened.

But it did.

I do not, and never will, understand how anyone can watch Alex Rodriguez cover television games. He has to be the least appealing person I've ever seen do it.

Where can we find the 'guidelines for bots' as stated in #3, "Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed." ? It would be good to have a link to those guidelines in the Rules.

I wish I could be alive when two archeologists attempt to decipher what "Two Girls One Cup" means.

She led a difficult life and clearly dealt with emotional issues throughout it, from being a troubled youth, to someone who was never entirely comfortable with her fame, to most recently the loss of her son (I think he was 17?). Sadly, and it bothers me to say this, I won't be surprised if it is announced that she took her own life.

She was an INCREDIBLE talent. "The Lion and the Cobra" which had Mandinka and "I Want Your (Hands On Me)" were staples of college radio when the album came out. Most of us know her for her cover of Prince's "Nothing Compares 2 U" but her original work was nothing short of amazing.

I'm amazed this is legal in the first place. Is it possible that prior laws regarding children fell under a protected category of "art"? Either way, I think we all agree that this law is a good law for society.

There are a few ways to do it, but the easiest is to run the 'sensors' command from the lm_sensors package, but I prefer the simplicity of the acpi command

For example,

[fedora ~]$ acpi -t Thermal 0: ok, 20.0 degrees C

So you could do:

#!/usr/bin/bash

if [ $(acpi -t | cut -d" " -f4 | cut -d"." -f1) -gt 80 ]; then
        # halt? shutdown? reboot? It's up to you.
fi

The second way is to use your BIOS settings to see if you can adjust the trip temperature. On my system,

[fedora ~]# sensors

which means the system will auto-shutdown at 110.0 degrees.

You can see that this happens at https://elixir.bootlin.com/linux/latest/source/drivers/thermal/thermal_core.c#L316

Does anyone know if RIF will be migrated to supporting Lemmy?
