An electric scooter IED wasn't on my bingo card.

Someone broke in Dec 15 and vandalized some of my belongings. Oddly enough a neighbor's porch camera was visibly turned off right before it happened. Thank god he turned it back on afterwards. in c/7735_41st_ave_se_lacey_wa@reddthat.com

Looks like it didn't do much damage, the truck was able to reverse. But it did probably pop the tire

If you were an intelligent sea creature who could not always rely on the sky to tell time (as is often the norm whilst out there), what would you use as a time reference if you wanted to measure time? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml

Shadows can still cast underwater, so you could use a rock as a sundial or just how light it is at a certain depth.

I only saw a few people saying this, but buy a used car from anywtime-2012 max.

Make sure that car is in good shape, has been up to date on oil changes and was well taken care of. And if you wants some newer car features, adding in a newer stereo could do the trick.

But get used to learning how to fix your car because less cars will be made that meet your requirements. Meaning that if you don't to sacrifice privacy for a new car when yours breaks down, be ready to fix it.
