Working my way through "The Monkey and the Monk" translated by Anthony C. Yu after giving up on the unabridged "The Journey to the West." Boy there is a lot of repetition... It's a bit of a slog but I want to get through it.

If Eldritch Horror is even slightly your cup of tea, I highly recommend The Fisherman by John Langan. His short stories are also fun. Sefira and Other Betrayals, made me pleasantly upset at times.

Roadside Picnic by Arkady Strugatsky. If not the original "Stalker" book, one of them. Fast fun read.

I always recommend Dicecloud. Technically a webapp, but it's super flexible and easy to use.

Nah, this is inherently scummy behavior.

Want to enforce a particular tone and strategic layer to a game by limiting fast travel based on a consumable? Cool. Just don't make that a consumable that can be purchased with real dollars.

Brian David Gilbert has always made cool stuff, but as he spun off from polygon he's created some wild existential videos.
