I have a pair of Altra Rivera 3 that have ~1500km. I am not sure there is any rule (except for marketing) saying you should change your shoes every x kms. I have a friend running ultras in >500km shoes because they are more comfortable and fit better.

IMO, you should change your shoes when they start to get uncomfortable

Hello, I would like to replace Pocket and am looking for a similar app to bookmark links. For now I just need a "local" version, no cloud needed. I might setup synthing later on. Does any of you knowns any FOSS apps?

I ditched reddit and twitter. Intalled Lineage OS and use as many foss apps as I can. I am also moving all my Google cloud to Proton Drive

Sure, reducing the methane emissions of a few farms might lead to an increased consumption of meat. Which would annihilate the positive effect brought by such innovation.

That's a fair argument. Although I am against making a generalization, especially since the IAEA who greenlighted the operations seems to be fairly independent

The biggest issue with these topics is the lack of trust toward the scientists, or even forgetting that there are any scientists working on the project. It's not as if the prime minister woke up to the idea of dumping nuclear waste into the ocean

I stopped using StackOverflow because of Reddit. The people over there are much friendlier and give better answers.

I installed LineageOS 20 a few days ago and I love it. I wanted to extend my OnePlus 6t lifetime but needed my bank apps so it is not de-googled (yet). I don't know if it because of the custom ROM or just a factory reset but I am trying to run as many as possible foss apps and preparing for a de-googled experience

Just wondering, why not try swapping the battery? Worst case it breaks and you buy a new phone, best case you can keep your phone for a few months/years

From 6 mm drop to zero (self.running)
 

Hello everyone,

As the title says, I would like to move from 6mm drop to 0mm. I already occasionally run with 0mm trail shoes but I mostly run with 6mm road shoes. I saw some guides where people moved from 12 to 8 to 4 to 0. I am unsure if I can jump from 6 to 0 or if it is best to got to 4 and then 0. What do you think ?

Training for Ultra-trails and/or Marathon (self.running)
 

Hello everyone, I have been running for a few months and I am currently training for my first 80km (~50miles). Once this goal achieved, I would like to train for a Marathon with a time target. My current weakness for Ultra-trail is running uphill, and I am not satisfied with my speed on flat terrain. Knowing that my aim is to participate in TORX (in 2 years, maybe), I am unsure whether I should focus on the Marathon to build up speed or continue my ultra trail training (trail, uphilll and long runs). I am also aware these are different sports and that it is difficult to give feedback with the lack of details but I am wondering what you would do and/or if my logic is flawed.
