Mobile wise it doesn't. And as I've said already, forums are designed for prolonged discussion. These scroller style mediums are good for short timeframe discussions.

I just shave the end of a match down. It's flat and you can make it pretty thin easily.

Which is a nightmare for searching and knowing where to post. Forums are still one of the best mediums for topics with multiple Branches

Look at xda and then reask that question. Subforums exist because some topics still fall under the same forum. Like android roms is a sub forum in xda, so its rooting phones. All the same umbrella but has different subforums.

This seems to be an issue with those who never used forums or grew up with them. They just want rolling topics over and over.

Which is what you might see, not what everyone else does. Old school forums are literally built so everyone is seeing the same layout, so that month old post that just got bumped, everyone is seeing it now.

Not to the point old school forums do. The sorting is one of the main things in a old school forum as it will bump a post to the top with a single comment. Subforums are also something you don't have on reddit/lemmy scrolling aggregators.

Sorting and bumping. Lemmy and reddit and can never be a forum from the past. As all content is continually drowned out and replaced with new posts. So no it cant.

There is no proof of this and no the odds of this being why they didn't leave is so low. Most people in small rural towns don't have options of employment, so factory work is really all they have access to. It's a reason why small rural towns die when the mine or factory shuts down.

I'd give them a pass pre-internet, but today? In the age were everything is connected, and russia wasn't like NK which controls everything their citizens see, they have access to the Internet. Which at bare minimum gives them some views outside of the propaganda, they shouldn't be this supportive of this war.

The fuck, do you think those of us who live rural, are missing modern technology? Lol that's hilarious...you gotta be really young to think this

Unfortunately a large portion of the population supports the war and putin. Just look at the level of support just from russians living abroad. It's most of their population that is all on board.

That's insane for how many bugs it has. What are they spending this money on? It's clearly not development time
