Now that you mention it, I do remember hearing about the kidnapping and conversion way back at the start of the invasion.

Thanks for the education, I don't think the things you brought up are reported widely enough

Under this running metaphor, that'd translate to Communism. Which I absolutely think would be beneficial if we could just adopt it today, but I don't think the western world as a whole is ready for that transition.

Under Capitalism, the best we can hope for is employees

I completely understand that neither would be very nimble but I'd expect with how large I'm sure both ships are (an assumption, I know) they shouldn't need to be nimble to be able to avoid a collision if they're so visible

I think you're right, he sees the US people as customers rather than employees though.

And a Casino aims to extract as much money as possible from it's customers.

If only the US had a businessman in charge that could fix all of the economic problems of the country, damn the social unrest. Exactly what the republican voters were asking for...

Welcome, I hope you enjoy your time here too

I have definitely found that to be the case. It helps to sort by new too 😅

I disagree with your last statement. Is promising to change not evidence of the motivation to change?

Some people lie about their intentions or don't plan to change as quickly as expected, absolutely. But to assume everyone who has promised to change won't feels unfair.

This sounds legit to me and I'm an expert, because I too have a grandmother

This sounds like data crystals to me. Please tell me why I am stupid 😂

Not from this post obviously, but I'm a newbie from Reddit and excited for what Lemmy has to offer

Oh, in that case I take it back.

God, I hate this timeline!

Is there a community/site that organises and lists open source projects?

I want to get into working on open source projects but I have found it difficult to find the projects themselves.

I'd preferably like to be able to filter by project type, tech stack, state of development, active users, and active developers.

Is this an open source project in itself?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
