The Android app is no longer going to be developed. But I heard the mobile webUI works fine.

Simmering means you're probably putting it on a stove top trying to keep it just below boiling temp for 20 minutes.
Is that what you're really doing? Or are you steeping?
If you use arch, there is discord_arch_electron
which can build with the latest electron
I use WebCord though
I'm also annoyed with the global key issue, but for Discord, I just set a key to mute my mic system wide.
2010, got the MyTouch 4G. Was running Foryo 2.2, but I ended up putting CyanogenMod on it.
Have never had this happen on my 4 computers
I personally have a dedicated phone just for Android Auto and Spotify for this. It's my old OnePlus 3T running LineageOS. I hotspot my main phone to my other phone to get data to the phone.
For those with limited hotspot data plans, there are apps that helps you mask that you're hotspoting without the need for root, such as TetherFi
It is still kinda inconvenient though, but better than nothing. I drive a lot, so Android Auto really helps.
I actually do already have this installed, but most of the time, it seems to not remove the tracking parameters. Maybe it can't tell due to some formats.
For example this link doesn't remove stuff after the ?
Though sometimes you don't want it to auto remove stuff after the ?
because you need that query to pull up stuff such as: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=query+string&t=h_&ia=web
You need the ?q=query+string&t=h_&ia=web
for that search to work.
The thing with URLCheck is that you can choose which parameters to remove as well, which is really useful. Also it resolves redirects so that you know where the link will take you.
but from a brief review of the functionality it seems like something that would be better as a browser extension.
I actually didn't think about that. That would be amazing as a browser extension.
Hopefully I'll find one or someone will make one someday in the future! It's very useful on Android.
You can try looking at styles like:
uBlock Origin only shows Chartbeat and Quantcast as trackers on The Atlantic’s website
Strange, it shows way more than that for me
I got myself a Dreametech L10 Pro and put Valetudo (mentioned in the article) on it. I absolutely love it! It goes on sale often.
The cloud server is actively developed.
