My local Orpheum is $9 for adult tickets and includes a drink and a regular popcorn. $11 gets you a ticket, large drink, and large popcorn. Drink refills are $1. Both theaters have recliners, couches, and Love seats at the back. They're awesome! Though you have to show up quite early if you want a comfy seat.
Yeah... I considered it. And then decided that not only was Reddit no longer worth the effort, but that I actively want to prevent them from using any of my content for their benefit, so I overwrote and deleted my entire comment history. Now I'm waiting a few days to see if they restore them, because apparently that's the level of bull that Reddit is now stooping to, and if I delete my account I won't be able to nuke my comments again.
But I fully understand why someone would be inclined to do all of that. I very nearly kept at it. In the end, I no longer trust them at all as a platform.
I tried it and it didn't work. I'm not sure if that's because I only have the final updated version of Sync Pro. I was really disappointed.
I'm just using it directly from the web via Firefox for Android. It works really well and is a much better experience than any of the trainwrecks Reddit has on offer.

Just discovered that my comment gets deleted as I type it if my phone switches screen layout, so let's try this again: This has been my exact experience. I went from my kids jokingly saying "Yeah, I think Dad's just autistic" to me finding the r/autism subreddit and relating way to hard with folks there, to discovering self-assessment RBQ-2, AQ, RAADS-R, SQ, EQ, and CAT-Q tests that all spelled things out plain as day, to my kids being like "Yeah, Dad. We were weren't joking. We meant that you are actually, literally autistic".
I understand myself better because of r/autism, and I've learned to have more patience and understanding for myself. I've found my people.
I'm so relieved to find this! I'm going to miss r/autism, but I really look forward to making new friends here! Reddit has been something of a coping mechanism and self regulating tool for so long, it's comforting to know that I have a new home here.
I don't know how to respond to that. I have a kbin account and a Lemmy account because I signed up for kbin first and then was told I would probably need a Lemmy account when Sync for Lemmy comes out. I would have to imagine that you can pick a larger, more active instance and be fairly assured that that server will continue well into the reasonable future.
As for email, you could make an alt/burner account for this purpose. I don't know what else to offer.

I would say Rebel Galaxy and especially Rebel Galaxy: Outlaw, which reminds me of Wing Commander: Privateer for the "Good game with little recognition".
For the "Objectively bad but I still love it" type, Lichdom: Battlemage and Technomancer are deeply flawed but wonderfully fun gems that require you to ignore some pretty big problems to find your enjoyment in them. Same with DarkStar One and the Starpoint Gemini series.
