I heard the same argument from IBM and HP when they started producing Servers, desktop computers and laptops, amongst many industries. With the new laws affecting the procurement of high end chips for China the motivation is very big to develop their own high end chip manufacturing machines.

You are wrong about that, if anyone is a prison it is the US, the country with the largest prison population in the world.

Well, I can, at least, choose who will spy on me. It's either the US or the Chinese, everyone should try and find out which one is the lesser evil in their particular country and position.

The only reason I'm still on windows is because of Microsoft Access.

Has anybody thought about making flying a good experience? I used to travel a lot before 9/11, after that it was once or twice a year and mostly one or two weeks, then COVID hit and everything stopped. After COVID, every trip has been a nightmare where absolutely no one is responsible for anything. Traveling is not for me anymore. Maybe in the not so distant future it will get better.

The new technologies will make entertainment creation a lot cheaper, we might see an important decline in prices in the next few years.

Making the bomb was a good decision, dropping two over civilians after the war finished was genocide.
