It’s the concept of a foreign party stealing/defacing a cultural treasure and a national icon. To some it probably feels offensive in a personal way with that classic flavor imperialist cultural appropriation. Which I can see the argument for, even if I do think it’s overly focused on a single episode instead of the greater AI issues at hand

Okay so fuck rich people destroying the planet with private air travel—however, he was still statistically more likely to die from driving that day. And so was his daughter and the other innocent kids on that flight
I mean this happens all the time in black and other minority communities, has even been on the news several times over the last few years, and literally nothing happens. I guess he just pissed off the wrong white family with enough resources or pull to do something about it. It’s terrible what happened to this guy but it’s been equally tragic every time it happened to a non-white person, and it’s unfortunate that this gets so more coverage

No, I get it. You really don’t need to post an entire breakdown when I can read it on any gaming site. These never seem to take into account that manufacturing games has become much cheaper or that the majority of games are sold digitally which have negligible costs compared to physical. Maybe I’m wrong about that but at the end of the day we are still getting used to $70 when it comes to modern consoles—so Nintendo thinking their games are worth more than that on top of being a generation behind? It’s a shitty look, honestly, especially combined with the other crap that’s come out about pricing since the reveal
I regret not buying this game for $50 a few years ago
Honestly I wouldn’t say that they are extremely sexually liberal, just that their very niche pornography culture is over-represented in western media while actually being very looked down upon by their actual society itself
