They have no idea how much more the trade war will escalate between the purchase and the item getting imported. If their laptops take several months to ship and their margins are lower than the increase in tariffs after the sale was made, then they lose money on the sale.

I'm not even talking about the accidentally scraped images. People retrain models to make porn that more accurately depicts their fetish all the time.

Because that's exactly what happens. The vast majority of AI porn isn't coming from unmodified models. People use LoRAs and their massive porn collections to retrain and fine tune models to generate their exact fetish. Pedos are definitely doing that too.

How did they train the model? I'd say it's just as problematic if the generator was trained using CSAM.

The ones who voted were citizens. The simple answer to why they voted for Trump is that when you're fleeing an oppressive socialist state, you don't want to vote for anything resembling socialism, and they didn't expect Trump to end temporary protected status for their friends and families.
