Thankfully I don't have to repaint anything, and I wish I could try that but blackcurrant is not available where I love

I just started brewing two months ago, so I am glad the brew gods decided to accept me so early!

Tried to make a Pina colada mead following city steading brewing's recipe, accidentally bought coconut milk instead of coconut water and found out only when everything was sanitized and pineapple juice already in the fermenter, and thought "what the hell, what the worst that could happen? If it goes rancid I'll just dump it out", we'll, I woke up to a lovely Pina colada smell and my kitchen absolutely covered with goop and air lock in the other side of the kitchen. Learn from my dumbassery.

I try to keep my ideas and opinions out of this conversation to keep it unbiased, but the reality I see, living in Israel my whole life is that support for a terrorist organization is directly related to terrorist activity, for example we've seen it in 95 when support for a radical right wing Jewish terrorist group quickly ended in the assassination of the prime minister Itzhak Rabin, and Hezbolla supporters are easily recruited by Hezbolla to report where Hezbolla missile hits so Hezbolla can correct they're aiming. As much as I understand, just supporting hamas' actions, as vile and horrible as it is is free speech, but the road from there to actively take action in aiding Hamas is extremely short.

First of all, I'm an Israeli, so take everything I say with a grain of salt, and I'll try to be as unbiased as I can. Hamas, as opposed to Russia (I don't say Israel because a lot will disagree), is an internationaly recognized terrorist group, which was elected* by the people of Gaza after Israel pulled all civilians and military from the Gaza strip, Hamas has made it very clear that their sole mission was to eradicate all the jews (not Israelis or zionists) from Palestine (and I'm not sure about that - also the world). So an Israeli supporting Hamas would be very problematic, Imagine an american supporting Al qaeda right after 9/11. And I just want to emphasize, supporting Hamas is not necessarily supporting Palestine and vice versa, myself I think that any hamas operative deserve to die, but I really hope and dream for the day that the Palestinians would be our peaceful neighbours. *elected technically, as they drove fatah, their main competitor and more moderate towards israel.

The Palestinian Islamic jihad is the second most powerful terrorist group in Gaza.

I just want to be clear, I'm stating my opinion, no one else's, it might be the consensus in Israel, it might be not. I've always been against a lot of my country and military actions, especially against Palestinians, never saw them as enemies, even as a soldier I spoke out if something seemed wrong to me, even in operation protective edge I've been told that I shouldn't live here if I care so much about the Palestinian, this was told to me by a soldier that I was carrying food and water for, what I'm saying is that I'm not some right wing hateful nut job when I say: I don't give a shut anymore, I don't give a shit where the gazan will go, I don't give a shit if they don't have food, I don't give a shit about any of this, In 24 hours, three friends have lost half of their families, two friends have been held hostages, one friend kidnapped to Gaza, presumably dead. As much as a pacifist I tried to be my whole life, right now I want nothing but the sea to be painted red by the blood of the people who did this and supported it, and quite honestly, when this is all over, I want our elected officials to be rounded up, faced against the wall and be shot.

Thank you! I have a few cobs left on the stalks that are not going to be fertilized, do you think it might be a good idea to let it spore the rest?

weird stuff in my corn (sh.itjust.works)

Hey everyone, first time growing corn and one of the cobs is looking positively haunted, I'm pretty sure these are enlarged kernels, have anyone seen something like this? Know why it happens? And if it ripens, is it safe to eat?

just popped up! (sh.itjust.works)

Hiyo! This little cutie just popped in my garden during a massive heatwave! Can anyone give a ID on it? Tried to look under it and I don't see any spores, it's just lumpy all the way down. I'm in northern Israel if it's relevant. Thanks!
